Basically, corn has been genetically engineered to grow in massive amounts in a small amount of space. Nearly everything artificial is corn because how cheap it is. The government pays farmers to grow it because the crop itself doesnt make the farmers any money. Corn DNA has actually been found in human hair due to how much people consume it.

That is pretty blown out of proportion and i have heard of these reports. Case n point, most consumed food in the world is rice, and beats anything else by a huge margin. This is more anti genetic engineering bullcrap than anything else. The fault is not of the genetic engineering, it is your capitalist ways wich shove evth that sells down your throats. Another case and point, meat megafactories. You are what you eat, and no one else but you is responsible for that.

I was simply stating why I thought it was bad. Don't get me wrong, Americans are idiots as I'm about to post in a topic after this, but organic seems much more healthier to me (assuming genetically engineered also has the chemistry part under it).

Did you watch the video i just posted? It explains perfectly well what genetically modified foods are. If you want to find out how they modify it you can search it in google. Gen modification uses markers to mark certain allels in the DNA of a cell, then they just cross the cell, and the markers get rid or add the DNA they want to for them. There is no danger in breeding these cells, because they test the results, and if its not viable for consumption, they retry. In fact, most genetic modified food are modified to be HEALTHIER than regular food.

Wow people... do you really DNA is capable of modifying your own DNA? LMAO you have no idea how genetics work. Nothing is gonna happen by eating selectively bred (in a lab or natural process) food. The only thing I don't like about the whole bit is that they breed for size and it usually costs flavor. Fruits are getting bigger and bigger but the flavor is getting weaker and weaker.. and thats just lame.
