Here is my plan with an eye towards our situation NOW, meaning that this would be the least harmful during this economic downturn and might not crash the entire system.

so youre asking everyone to be financially savvy? grow up nihil.

by that terms, anyone who complains about a game cant say shit until they know how to make one. or anyone who doesnt play professional sports cant complain abou the performance of a professional player.

Where's the "stop paying $50 for a roll of toilet paper" option? Been proven that there's more wasteful spending in the federal budget on things like cleaning and office supplies then in any vital area. It was exposed on the news a few years ago that when added the government was spending the equivalent of 50 dollars for each roll of toilet paper, 2 bucks per STAPLE, 20 per pen....

Sorry, let me add context that will help:

America has elected people who wish to "cut the deficit and budget"

Then people tell gov. officials that they had "better leave your government hands off my medicare" when medicare consumes a large part of the budget.

Also, if you don't take a look at what the options are for fixing the budget but just want it to "magically go away" then you are being crazy.

I'm simply asking people, if they truly have concerns about the budget, to look into it and share what you would cut.

How can you say "cut" if you don't know what you want to cut?

Aard, the sum of the 50$ toilet paper thingies is almost equivalent to a rounding error to anyone who looked at the aggregate.

AS of 2001

"The U.S. nuclear arsenal today includes 5,400 warheads loaded on intercontinental ballistic missiles at land and sea; an additional 1,750 nuclear bombs and cruise missiles ready to be launched from B-2 and B-52 bombers; a further 1,670 nuclear weapons classified as “tactical.” And just in case, an additional 10,000 or so nuclear warheads held in bunkers around the United States as a “hedge” against future surprises." (Newsweek, 6/25/01)

So ya... I think that would be enough, also, Russia has so little an urban population and military, and debt racked and uncoordinated government, they couldn't dream of attacking us, cold war is over bub.
