So i downloaded some fonts and i'm wondering where to put the fonts in Gimp/on my computer to use.

dont they go both ways?

i use two that work on word/windows live/gimp/ and the chatbox here

the font files need to be copied into the c:\windows\fonts folder. that will install them into your computer and should make them available for any app you have on the computer.
