Quite the contrary, most Christians believe in destiny and predestination, and that is direct control by God.

Yes, he points out the flaw of predestination being incompatible with the idea of an omnipotent being who is also good willed. It all goes back to Epicurus. Sort of. I dnt think he should feel hatred towards christians as individuals thou. Some people are douches,but not every individual is. Dont hate the playa, hate the game.

pre determination means that god KNOWS what's going to happen beforehand, not that he's going to do any fucking thing about it. Not that I really care about that aspect, but that argument is as good as the one saying people who believe in genes think that genes control our every action and we can't do anything. That is not true either.

He is only responding to one christian, and his god. He mainly attacks religion itself, I have been watching a lot of his videos now.

You are incorrect, the majority of christians believe in destiny. Catholics do, and they make up the majority of christianity on this Earth.

If God knows whats going to happen, then technically it already has happened just not yet, thats destiny no matter how you try to explain it, and destiny means we have no free will.

Besides, If God created evth, he created every future, past, and present event, meaning all that you do, he is creating. Like a computer rendering a world map in a game.

If God knows everything and created everything, then free will is non existent, since free will determines that the future is left to chance, and is not pre determined. So you either have free will, or you have a destined path. You either have total control over your actions(within the limits of a human being) or you either have no control at all. Thus why i have neglected current religions.

Also Dist, Genes do not control everything about you. Only minor aspects in your physical and mental state. Most, likely 80%, of what you will become, is due to your experience in this world. You cant compare the genes to God, because God is suposed to know everything and he creates everything, thus, in order to know everything and create everything, there is nothing that can be left to chance. Genes simply determine a very small part of what youll become.
