jka sp is full of bots who just spam katas....at least in jk2 there were no katas and were only like 3 ''special moves''. JK2 had the largest maps ever...JK3 sp sucks!! ;o

i got to play the first level of JKO last night... that was NOT the game that i had played before... the one i played before you start with just a pistol... perhaps that was the first one

the game i played years ago... you were alone and had a blaster pistol... and no jan... JKO you start with jan and you are outside... i remember it being dark in the game i played before

ok... cuz this level was all new to me... and not so bad so far.. bit confusing... and i had to change the controls around to be more like jka... but not bad at all

That would be Dark Forces 2: That occurs after you overpower one of your captors and take his pistol, which is surprisingly your personal blaster...

yea... i wasn't able to find that game again... but i did find JKO... its not bad so far... but i have only done the first mission tbh

The mission i hated the most was in the mine maze with those little creatures constantly chewing

Around a thousand (from ep.4) years ago, Darth Bane believed (studied really, in a holocron) the sith would survive for generations with only two members. A master and an apprentice; one to hold the power, the other to crave it. So in order to do this, he had to destroy The Brother Hood of darkness and start from scratch; the current sith group at the time. There was a war going on between the brotherhood and Lord Hoth's army of light (jedi). Both sides were having very high losses, and Kaan( leader of the brotherhood) was begining to turn insane. I think Bane was able to trick Kaan into using this ancient sith technique called the Thought Bomb to destroy all of the jedi, without knowing it was an act of suicde as well. And so, Kaan took all of his remaining forces deep into a cave to draw in Hoth's army. Hoth took with him 99 other jedi knights and followed kaan into the cave to end the war. When they confronted each other, Kaan set it off. Killing EVERY force sensitive being on the planet (yes some were able to flee before it set off), but not exactly though. The souls of the jedi were forever trapped inside the bomb, their mind lost.

Awhile after, Hoth's padawan Johun, (he gets killed later on by zannah i think) came back to ruusan and created a momument in their honor where the bomb was detonated. He was able to gather stone from across the galaxy to help build the statues, since the jedi that took part were so different.

Now we get (at the time) current date. All i know is there was a prohecy that told Kyle katarn would come and set the trapped souls the jedi free. Which im assuming he did, since he was trying to keep the location a secret in JKO. I never played Darkforces so one of you can explain what happened between him and jerec

The part about Bane convincing the Brotherhood to perform an act of suicide (Thought Bomb), you can read in the Bane Trilogy- Path of Destruction, Rule of two, Dynasty of Evil. Dynasty is coming out in paperback soon though, i already got the hardcover when it came out earlier :p
