i havn't read the Thrawn trilogy yet, but i'll probably just wait till they re-release out in hardcover

You really want to pay 30 bucks for a hardback with nothing new when you can get the paperback for under 5?

I can think of much more... entertaining things to do at a computer then read. The point of books is to have something to do when you don't feel like getting on the computer.

You arent on a CRT screen era anymore Aard. LCDs and Plasmas dont harm you. Besides, books are as useful as any other thing you do on the computer. And reading online is cheaper too. If i dont wanna be on the PC, i go do sth physical.

You think I buy books? HAHAHAHAHA, Library FTW. And if you saw this chair I use, you wouldn't wanna sit in front of the computer long either.

TBH, right now i am sitting on an unconfy one, but thats the magic of laptops, i cna even go....TO MY BED. THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS. I have a proper chair worthy of a king thou.

Honestly, you can start anywhere. All the books are connected, but if you're gonna start a series (x-wing, Legacy of the force, Thrawn trilogy, Jedi academy, etc), make sure its the first book. Each book gives off little hints to something that another book in the timeline will spend majority of it on that topic. Like for instance, in Legacy of the Force, majority of that series talked about the aftermath of the Yuuzhan Vong War. Which that war takes place in a series before Legacy, that series is called The New Jedi Order. Another example, is the X-Wing series; They talk very little about the disappearance of Outbound Flight. If you wanna learn the entire tale of Outbound Flight, read the book (literally called Outbound Flight) and it'll explain in full what happened. <---this takes place alittle after Episode 1 i belive; when (young)Anakin is Obi wan's padawan. They they also have cameo in this book. They just happen to be on a mission to find Vergere, which funny enough turns up in The New Jedi Order series torturing Jacen and the future leader of ONE SITH (One sith also makes an appearance in Legacy of the force series and re-emergers in the Legacy comic as the new Dark Lord)lol. If you read Survivors Quest, this involves Luker and Mara's rediscovery of Outbound Flight.

If you read one book, you'll get answers; plus questions that'll lead you to another book. The process will repeat itself over and over again. ITS ALL CONNECTED IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER :DDD
