Screamo isn't Emocore necessarily. Neither it means the band is emo if they have some screaming vocals.

Me, I like the instruments and just really fucking good riffs and sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. Also, British bands are fucking guud.

Yes but you pick that up. If you listen to a music and you find it abhorrent until you really listen to it, and analize the lyrics, then the musician did not do a good job at entertaining the listener. Of course he doesnt have to, purpose of music is not to entertain someone exclusively, it is to express and do what you want with it. My point is purely analitical. For Champ, if he doesnt like it, but if he reads the lyrics, he likes it, then its not the music he likes, its just the rhymes written.

Dude you looked too deep into what I said. I would have to like the sound as well. Thats why I said I like all music really, but some genres sounds are bad though but I am sure one of the songs will have a good enough sound to make me want to listen to the lyrics, THEN if the lyrics are good I will enjoy the song forever. Has to have both man.

Ok Champ, thats better. Lyrics are rarely important to me. Some of the best music in the world has no lyrics. Lyrics for me are as important as any other musical instrument. A guitar, a drumset, a violin, a piano, a voice, they all have equal value to me. Their quality is what defines them in each individual case, but good lyrics and a good guitar are at the same level of originality.
