Which antivirus to try next? Empty Which antivirus to try next?

Well my ESET has expired, and its time to try out a new AV. I used to use AVG FREE(utter crap IMO, missed quite a few minor threats but hogged my system resources), so I'm wondering which program I should try out next. Now that I have a credit card, the option of buying a good AV means I want to try out a bunch and see how much I like them.

Computer:
Acer Insipre 4530 Laptop
Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit(UAC is off and I use the super secret Admin account, yea its way more vulnerable, but meh)

Which AV should I try next? Please post why you prefer that particular AV over others. If you use norton, STFU & GTFO.

Avast
simple as that its free works great
isnt a resources hog
& its very easy to adjust its settings

There are only two i fully trust, but you pay for them.

ESET and Kaspersky. Panda is good too, BUT it uses enormous amounts resources.

Avast is sufficient, Orbit 360 is ok too,
