Ok wtf...

Alright I have been having this issue popping up consistently after I had wiped my computer completely clean with install files/.exe files. Whenever I go to install something no matter what it is if it is a downloaded good installer, off of Steam, etc so on I get this error: "(File name) doesn't match the file in the setup's .cab file. The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted."

Now I am a guy who knows a lot about computers including DOS, hardware installation etc so on and this shit I have no clue how to deal with and it is pissing me off to no end. It happens on clean CD's, Steam installs, downloaded and every other thing I try to do. I really need an actual fix for this bloody thing and I think I am going to need at least Aard's help if not everyone and their mom as well.

It should not be since this is a clean install.

the only thing common i can remember at 4 am to all installations is Wizard Installer.

A clean install isn't always a good one..

Installers can error themselves even if they don't show it.
You should try installing it again, just to make sure it's not that.
