Jedi Academy crashes

Should've worked, but it didn't. Maybe some sort of driver or program from a windows update is to blame? Anyways I gave up on trying to get it working. I'll just be playing it on my laptop from now on. =)

I'm thinking when you reinstalled Windows, you kept whatever is making JA not run. If you format the hard disk at the Windows reinstall, it will clear it out. Backup up crucial files like game save data, pictures, documents, etc., first as always.

If that doesn't work, then I believe it is something hardware related.

i have the same problem as lucky with the same system rep as him i have an ati 5800 and i tried downgrading my catalyst. I think its more then the open gl. Lucky try putting your video card settings on factory default settings after you update your catalyst.

You need to read the thread. He already converted the file from Catalyst, just like the one in your link, and put it in his gamedata folder. You are wrong and the one who is the "lair". I'll duel you anytime, anywhere. Only speak English.

I would win the first time our lightsabers clashed, simply by swiping straight down from the saber lock. It would take off all your fingers and you couldn't hold the lightsaber anymore. They didn't think of that in the movies.

That would have to be a hella big mirror to reflect a Death Star ray. Plus, I already sabered your fingers off so you couldn't hold a lightsaber, then I killed you. I doubt you could move something that big around very quickly, so I would wait till the Death Star orbits a little farther, then blow up the planet your corpse fell on, without having it reflected back on me. the mirror wouldnt be on the planet but infront of the deathstar, like one big cock blocker and you grandmother is gonna man it so you dont kill her.

If you had a mirror floating in space in front of my deathstar, I would send spaceships to shoot it down and destroy it. I would rescue my grandmother first then put your whole family on it before I blew it up. Then I would go back to destroying the planet you died on for fun.
