headache, i have idea's of what it might be, but nothing certian, you need aard or someone who understands this shiz better than i do. I just know if one of the assets file's are corrupt your fked, like seriously, i had that happen where assets 0 was severly damaged, i had to ask one of my hacker friend to pick it apart and fix it.. nothing freaker than using TeamViewer and your curser is moving when your hands arent on your keyboard/mouse.

anyway, aard or some1 has to see this.

Restart Computer. Clear JAplus and Base folder out of junkmods. Re-install JKA.

Either those options or go see Aard.

Well from the looks of it my guess would be you overwrote your base files and as such corrupted the start up command line function. In other words: Reinstall JKA is my guess.

I always Uninstall the game, Reboot computer and then re-install when I get that problem and a Reboot/Cleaning Japlus/Base folder helps.

i got this error when i installed a driver update on my graphics card, try rolling it back to a previous version

its OpenGL system problem. Similar like in Aragorn case.

download drivers for your graphic card, butnot last. download previous driver.

If you are using ATI drivers, you need 10.4 Catalyst version. That was the last one to use Open GL version 1.3. 10.5 and newer use Open GL version 1.4. Either roll back to 10.4 or use my workaround where you convert the Open GL file in Catalyst 10.4 and then place it in your Jedi Academy exe file. Can't speak for nVidia drivers since I don't use those, but there is probably a workaround for that too if you Google it.

I got a good deal on a GTX 285, so I'm back to team green myself as well now. Hope their drivers work better than ATI's, been a while since I used nVidia. Hope my GTX 285 actually works too.

Why dont u get GTX480 or 470 instead.

Cuz you can't get those cheap like I got my GTX 285. I for sure don't want to pay 200+ dollars for a good GPU when it will be old tech in a year or less.

i always see nvidia as the cheaper between ATI and Nvidia. course i have not bought a GPU in a few years...

ATI is known to be the price/performance champ in GPUs like AMD is for CPUs. Except AMD is WAY cheaper than Intel in price/performance.

nVidia has always been best for me. Just because it never failed me ,while ATi did a couple of times.
