to the contrary, decent blend. You know, a basic trick to PS is to duplicate ur color/background, put it OVER the render and start tinkering with the opacity and blending modes. Sometimes it really comes up with great looking effects, and they are usually totally random ish so it makes the art unique to your style more than following a tut and art rules and coming up with a generic 'good' signature

I came up with a couple changes:

I seem to be decent with background, but then I add text and it goes downhill xD

I like the gradient you have added in the first one there, but it needs to die well before it reaches the middle and the blue side could use some work....your blue text is epic just change the font. Try do the same on the orange side.

And like I said before that line in the middle has to be changed a little it looks like someone accidentally dropped a cylinder there and it is in the way of the picture. The blending should look fine without it. If not make it colored like the BG, or some neutral color.

I can color the line, but it's supposed to be a sort of flare like you see when two beams hit in the animes, and it's there to hide the fact that when I colored the fog, there was a gap between the blue and orange ones. GIMP tools are a little primitive, so I can't properly blend dogs like that and there's always going to be a small gap when I try.

As for the gradient, it's the background fog, duplicated and placed over the renders then changed from Normal to Screen. I'm not sure how to make it fade off though.

Text font is my great enemy, any suggestions on a font would be appreciated.

pto I am writing an essay, cannot afford to waste any more time, guess its not ur lucky day atm Razz

and aard, u can make the fading more prominent by moving that duplicated layer slightly to left and right a lil bit, off the stage. While it may not work here, a dual thing can be blended by either selecting that middle part and blurring a lot or just putting a partial effect on the edges to make them meet, but it will look more messy and not geometrically clean like what it is looking atm.

That looks nothing like a meeting power beam, sometimes it is better to just DL an images and use that
