7 year old comp, I upgraded a couple years back to 2GB RAM. I think I still have 40GB free on my disc, but that's because I clean out what I'm not using.

Re: what the f*** does this mean!!!
i HAVE tried it Thing. many times. i dont speak about a program without trying it. I just said that commercial was illusive and deceptive, wich is true, rendering happens after you receive information thru the net. When he clicks on it and weather immediatly appears, he is only testing rendering, because give him my connection, it wouldnt be as fast as it shows. Between Firefox and Chrome i can go Chrome because now i have a high end PC, but for low man, Chrome is a luxury.

When you said the first chrome, did you mean to say Firefox? I actually went from Firefox to Chrome. I like Chrome a lot.

Netscape can suck it. Chrome > Netscape.

Re: what the f*** does this mean!!!
chrome is the fastest, but also has crash issues at times and is quite insecure. Security wise Firefox/Safari would have to take the cake but as long as ur not doing stuff like piracy/porn shouldn't be too much of an issue. Since everyone here does that, it IS an issue, so....get Firefox for that stuff, even has an in built proxy I think, and Private browsing.. For normal stuff chrome wins, by a long hop.

I keep using Firefox because, yay Chrome takes some second fraction less to load a page, but yay, Firefox has proxies, add ons, plug ins, skins, and more and more stuff. Chrome has....Google bar.

Re: what the f*** does this mean!!!
firefox takes a LOT longer to load depending on computer.
For me it takes at least 3-4 seconds more than chrome, which is pretty much instant

Chrome's got plugins and skins... And it's really safe and has private browsing. Just press ctrl-shift-n.Dray The Fingerless wrote:I keep using Firefox because, yay Chrome takes some second fraction less to load a page, but yay, Firefox has proxies, add ons, plug ins, skins, and more and more stuff. Chrome hardly crashes for me, and it's actually very secure. I haven't gotten a virus through it yet (and I've been known to pirate). It always gives you a warning if it's suspected that it's a malicious page. And again Chrome has private browsing.Disturbed wrote:chrome is the fastest, but also has crash issues at times and is quite insecure. When was the last time any of you got the Chrome update?
EDIT: This is my favourite Firefox Add-On: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/26/

Re: what the f*** does this mean!!!
been a while. Trust me just cuz it warns you doesn't mean u won't get it. And it tends to crash at certain applications randomly for me. Still amazing too, but I still prefer Firefox for these things.
Chrome keep a copy of ur data even in private browsing,

Re: what the f*** does this mean!!!
Chrome does crash for me just a hair more often then Firefox, but it also take a tenth of the time to reopen the window

Re: what the f*** does this mean!!!
Actually, i get the exact same speed for both, but then again, i got an i7 so its redundant speed now...Thing, dont even compare the amount of stuff Firefox has to what Chrome has. its surmountable.
