It's a chance to change your mind, I usually leave people where they are until some of the members can try to persuade them to stay because a good portion end up staying. If your sure then I'll remove you from the Jedi Usergroup.

@aard: yea that makes sens because most people do end up staying, but i still think it would be for the best if i take a break from jvs for atleast a little while

Well, I'm sad to hear you leaving but yes, it's true you will feel tons better when you take a break and come back to the clan later on

Exact reason I don't play anymore. Was not having fun anymore. Everyone just wanted to try and show me up and duel me. Pressure got so great I just did not have fun playing anymore. Every time I went on the server I felt I was expected to have a 50-1 score like usual. Or beat whoever challenged me as usual, etc The usual. And then if I even lost once I would get angry at myself and everyone around me. I just wanted to be left in peace and have no expectations put on me. I realized it was time to hang up the gloves and retire gracefully when I was going about 50/50 with behalok and I insinuated he was a hacker of some kind (upon which point he maturely PM'ed me and asked me if everything was oK and I respect him greatly for that).

I have no desire now to ever play JKA again. I love this clan though, and have a TON of friends here.

So easy for you to say. You are not a leader. And they are not people I will never meet, they are friends and clan mates. I care about them. I am even going to plan a JVS get together eventually.

He's right, as a Councilor there's a certain level of skill people expect whether they are in or out of the clan, it can get annoying to constantly have to live up to that expectation when you just want to mess around.

dude your contradicting yourself. a good leader doesnt quit doing what they were orignally a leader for. meaning that you say its easy for me to say that. but you dont even play the game to even be a leader. to actually be a good leader, you have to be in the battle feild. no disrespect, just tellin like it is. i know you have to have a certain level of skill, but not playin is worse then you having a lower score then usual

And that is the problem, because I always refused to use aliases. I felt dirty walking around with an unknown name when I could be representing the clan. And Aard, you only feel the tip of the ice berg when it comes to that pressure. I was champion for years man, very few could even come close to my level of skill, and only enough people to count on one hand could match me in all the years ive played this game. Imagine the pressure of that. Every time I got on the server it was every one wanting to benchmark their skills against mine.

You seem to not even know the basics of leadership. A leader is someone who gets people to listen and do things willingly. I do that daily. Don't preach to me. And the fact that I can do that after not playing this game seriously for over 9 months I feel is a testament to my good leadership. People are STILL willing to listen and follow willingly my orders, and I do not even play the game anymore. That is a good leader.

lol lets not get too into this argument for the sake of having fun XD. but ill use the military as a example. but whos the most respected general, one who fights with there soldeirs, or a general who sits there and tells people what to do. now im not saying your not respected, just saying there'd be more respect. and about everyone challenging you, you can refuse you know lol, but i mean youll just have take everything as a challenge. but whats the point of leading a clan based on a game you never play.

Soran, Generals don't fight, not in real life. In fact it's quite rare for any officer above the rank of Major of Lieutenant Commander to engage in actual combat of any kind. Enlisted men fight, Officers order enlisted men to where they fight.

The one that sits behind the desk and actually does his job and keeps the troops around rather then running around on the battlefield where he's not needed.
