usb port -_-

I have a problem that's making me angry my usb port does not work i cant transfer files because the folder with the phone files does not appear can somebody help me

You may nee to install the usb connection if it came with a CD, otherwise it should be plug and play so to speak... check your system's hardware as well. did you recently reinstall your operating system?

Does it work with other USB devices? If so then I suggest looking for a driver or CD that may have come with your phone.

lets start at beggining...
1.how many USB ports u have in ur computer?
If You have more than two check every one.
2. Where are Your USB ports in your computer (I hope its not laptop or similar just stationary machine?
If You have for example two USB ports at front and two or more at back then better try that from back.
3. Check Your phone producer side about updates for USB connections (what system You use?XP, VIsta, Win7, Linux, MacOS?)
4. Is others external devices with USB connections work properly on same USB ports?
5. Wich phone model You try connect and how (cable USB, RCA connect, Infrared adaptor)?
6. If You use system older than 2yrs update Your Universal Controller Serial Bus
7. Say us is it help You;)

actually i understand but even if i didn't ill be the same |-( im veery bad with computers

i think more than likely it is an issue with the drivers for the phone to talk to the computer. this would have to be installed on the computer.

Check the Sony website and see if they have drivers and software to allow the connection to your phone. It may be it is not made to transfer files this way... Blue tooth?

Maybe its time to stop only playing and start learning the computer.
