Oblivion : Elder Scrolls
This game absolutely pwns. Can't believe how good it is, it's the kind of game I've been looking for and haven't found as of yet...an FPS/RPG with good combat, story and everything. Think M&B:Warband + Dragon Age + Open story which NO RPG I have tried yet has = Oblivion. And to think I dismissed the game as suck after seeing the orc face and thinking it was crappy. What a mistake.

Idd, Oblivion is a great game. I finished main storyline + shiviering islands + knights of the nine on 12 lvl. Rotfl. (max lvl is ~70)

Yep its a really good game.
Once you finish it there are thousands of mods to keep you playing it.

Re: Oblivion : Elder Scrolls
I got really addicted to that game, but I would not compare the combat to M&B, its similar but M&B is more complex and dynamic.
I played as a Briton Mage and got really strong. I owned a house in the vampire lords city (the rich house I dont remember its name). The one thing I hated about the game is that as I grew stronger suddenly the bandits where wearing glass armor and other silly things. I had to DL a mod which made encounters more random.

Hey! I was a Breton Mage too^^
I love how the just keep leveling up, the Bretons. I think you are thinking of that mansion in the city where there are ghosts and stuff and you have to kill the dude underneath the house?

Re: Oblivion : Elder Scrolls
Yeah that game rocks, I've always found myself stumbling around with the side quests and exploring things instead of progressing along the main quest.

I was a Imperial Battlemage.
The quests for the Mage's Guild are better than the main story in my opinion.
Oh and the town with the large mansion is Skingrad.
EDIT: Bg, it doesnt have multiplayer. But I heard rumors about mods that add it...

Re: Oblivion : Elder Scrolls
well it depends on what you want...if ur more into cutscenes and passive gameplay than action + story then Dragon Age and other BioWare games would suit you way better. For me just being able to use bow and arrow realistically in fantasy setting is enough.

Put some Mods that make the game look more beautiful, it rocks m0ar
And Delta, there is a Multiplayer ADDON by some guys, it's co-op and it's not very good tbh.

Yessss skingrad. That was my stomping grounds. That high bridge to the castle, the well trimmed streets and high society. Ah I loved that city. My mansion was well decorated too I almost felt like a queer with all the home decoration (which the funny part is, no one even saw since its a SP game).
