When a sparrow was clipped by a car's antenna and mortally injured, this series of shots was taken as its companion brought her food and tried to comfort her.
When the companion returned from getting more food, the female had died.
The companion bird then tried to move its mate and cried in despair as it realized that its companion was gone.
According to the photographer, the bird stayed with its dead mate for hours before finally flying away.

this is humanity without rationality and logic.
the other extreme, a human without this, is a machine.
we are a flawed and hybrid experiment of nature, and at the same time, a wonder of it. we carry both logic and emotions, a dangerous, dangerous combination, one who has proven in our history to given the worst results. but it also allows somewhat beautiful results in the world. leaves to eachoen to determine if such power carries greater good or greater evil. hence, why you may feel cursed or thankful for being human. or if your like me, you feel both.
