Here i will take applications to be my padawan... i will teach you everything you need to know to pass your trials

fan, pivot, block, parry, delay, poke and red combos

i am located in the central time zone (us) im not sure what the gmt is... i think its either -5 or -6... and i am usually on at the following times mon-fri 6pm-10 (sometimes a bit later but not normally past midnight) sat&sun on and off all weekend usually on longer at night.

im not sure what else to write at the moment to try to make this more appealing... so ill just leave it like it is

Adamantine - only got to train with you for a half hour or so with all the interuptions but i was able to show you a few things. please keep practicing what i have showed you. only new thing left is poke i believe, and if you pick that up as fast as you picked everything else up it shouldn't take long

Lazy - found out that you already knew poke... just gotta work on block and parry with you some more and you will be all set

Eman: finally got to work with you on some stuff... showed you block and parry and started with fan.. we will pick up there when i see you again

Eman - got to show you poke last night.. you did it a couple times... but we need to work on it... also tried to show you red combos but it seemed like you wanted to goof off instead.

on a side note... you don't seem to listen to me very well... i had to ask you more than 5 times to go in spec so that i could try to show you what i was teaching you... that upset me very much.. if you won't listen to what i have to say i have no problem dropping you... this is your ONLY warning see you soon

Lazy - i haven't been able to train with you for quite a while.. sorry about that i want to see you at least a couple more times before i sign off on your trial but last i knew i think you are ready... just need to make sure

Eman - my god... what a drastic turn-around in you since i warned you... you have truly amazed me. today we worked on quite a bit... fan, block, parry, delay, and combos... i won't say yet that you will be ready to trial next trial week but you might be if we really train hard... ill let you know when i am ready to sign off on your trial

Lazy - i understand that you passed your trial... congrats i knew you could make it... does he count towards my total?

Eman - got to work with you for about an hour tonight... practice fan so we can go on to pivot... only other thing we need to work on is parry... hope i can catch you tomorrow

Actually, using a xbox controller has severely ampered your moves. You will be able to reach higher levels with a mouse and keyboard.

quinlan i appreciate the kind words... and i would be happy to train you... but there are 2 problems... first i am full... i am only allowed 3 pads and i have buzz (my son), t@z (my daughter), and master-eman (inactive for around 3 months) thats the first problem... the second is the fact that i will be losing the internet in a couple days... for at least a month... so i won't be able to help you... im sorry... if you need anything when i return i will be glad to help you unofficially

ah well spidey my policy is if they go inactive for more then a month, then i just kick them out of my paddy's list, but when they return i gladly accept them back. its good that way so that people wont take up space ^_^

since i am going to be gone for a bit... i am officially dropping all 3 of my pads until they contact me here

ok... i currently have 1 pad... rave... or whatever she wants to call herself lol... i have to test her and see what she knows and what not... work out some sort of time for training and all that good stuff... i will be updating this thread/clearing out all the junk prob tomorrow or so

gave rave a mock trial

passed everything but fan/pivot... so i will attempt to work on that with her... she should be ready to trial in jan

Eman - gave you a mock trial to gauge your skill level and see what i had to work on you with, here is how you did

fan - took you a few tries, but you ended up gettin it
pivot - we gotta work on this
block\parry - gotta work on this
delay - you got it after a few tries... keep practicing it i wanna see 5 in a row
poke - we were on a bad map to try this, gotta see if you can do it on ffa3
red combos - did pretty good on this, keep practicing

dueling - you said you got better... so either i got better as well (i don't think i have) or you have slacked since being gone, but it is much easier for me to beat you now. don't get discouraged, that happens when you are away for a few months... keep sparring with me and we can get it back up

we have to work on everything else... but there is nothing wrong with that... we will get there i promise... your earliest trial date is in march anyway im sure you will be ready by then

So what progress have you made Spidey? How many pads you have trained to JK?

i have trained 2... i would have (im sure) passed my JT trial this month had it been available to me... i will take it in feb if haize is around...

HAIZE IF YOU SEE THIS... BE AROUND IN FEB TRIAL WEEK

also bast.. i would prefer to keep this to strictly training updates... but since your post is at least semi on topic i will let it go... tho the answer you seek is on the original post

got to work with katie for about an hr or so last night

fan - doing very well.. keep practicing, i would like to see a perfect 3-4 hit fan on demand
pivot - haven't gotten to this yet
block/parry - you got this... but we will continue to work on it
red combos - my goodness you picked that up quick... keep practicing it tho... i don't want you to lose it
delay - i would say you just about have this mastered... keep at it
poke - you saw me practicing my poke last night... and asked how i did it... so i showed you... next time we will be poking each other... or i will spawn kyle or something (if we are in the cw) so you and i can practice on that

overall i think you will be ready to trial in march that gives us a lil over a month to get everything down so you can do all this on command... which is what i had to do for my trial... plus we will still spar... since that is also part of the trial... depending on who trials you.... everyone is different

on a side note... i have not seen eman for a couple weeks... has anyone else seen him?

i havnt :/
