New episodes of a show 15 yrs old?

so today im watching abc kids with my gf's 8 yr old son... and i see a commercial for a new episode of power rangers... problem is... it was an episode that i saw about 15 yrs ago... the introduction of the green ranger tommy. here is the problem... what they did to make it "new" is added some words on the screen that reminded me of batman starring adam west. pow oof that sort of thing... how can they possibly consider this new... i don't get it... i even told him exactly what would happen... and he was kinda amazed that i knew... i said well i saw it about a bajillion times when i was around your age... well... thanks for listening to (reading) my rant... now i have it out of my system... if anyone else remembers this episode... please let me know.. i don't want to think im crazier than i know i am thanks
