why do I keep finding myself having to say that the situation in detroit is a mix of socioeconomic problems, social problems are not readily remedied like the economy.

Like I said before, I have a procedure, I can't let anything happen to it, too expensive, and my mom and dad would, well, especially my dad, would go ballistic over it being broken.

also, its quite easy to see that you have left it on, i mean, you can visibly see it without looking through.

If someone hands you binoculars, you most likely will put them up to your eyes assuming they were looking through them a few moments ago. And like I said, the lens cap being on doesn't damage equipment.

As for Detroit, like I said, if you don't provide the facts they are lies to you.

I read it, doesn't explain enough such as why no intervention has worked if all Liberal policies are supposed to work.

They don't always work, but what it has done is that it has slowed the decline of the city once it lost its major tax revenue and educated work force.

The way you represent it in the Rancor Pit, every single Liberal policy could solve everyone of our problems if we just stopped thinking for ourselves.

They didn't work in that city, but they slowed the decline of the Detroit.

I would think that the way i presented it would be that liberal policies work if only we would start thinking for ourselves and using history and data.

No, you tell people not to argue with the "experts" by definition you're telling them not to think for themselves on the issue.

Actually, I've said before and i'll say again, a healthy amount of skepticism is normal and good, but we can't deny everything, especially when we see that data they have retrieved and use the resources that education has given us, such as history.

Only by challenging everything can we separate truth from lies, and exaggeration from underestimation.

only by challenging everything do we refuse to accept it, thats the vibe i'm getting from the U.S right now.

Like I said, a healthy amount of skepticism is good and normal, but when we refuse to believe it even when we have data, scientists backings, and history to reflect upon.

Data can be falsified, scientists bribed, and history re-written. History is fraught with false assumptions brought on by hasty research. Today's companies are forcing them to work even faster then in any other point in history or have their funding withdrawn. In order to make sure these assumptions are really best then they not only have to be challenged, but even the "data" has to be challenged.

that is what other scientists do, but when you have an overwhelming majority of them saying, Yes! this is happening, we have data that concludes it, just like those guys over there, you can know that it isn't made up, and that data that is repeated is true.

The problem is you have other scientists bringing up conflicting data. It is the nature of science to test everything, a theory has to be able to continue standing against EVERYTHING, refuting EVERYTHING, otherwise the theory is wrong and needs to be re-thought. The reason people like you can stand confident in your theories is because of people like me who challenge those theories in every possible way.

scientists will challenge everything, people still try to prove einstein wrong

But if you have a giant ratio of 1000:1 what are you going to do but follow those who have the best evidence, best data, and such

Evolution, relativity, global warming, you name it, there is a scientist out there trying to disprove it and will have some misleading data to get you there.

I'm not saying that they all do that on purpose, but the methods by which they do it, they are not as scientific, they take only, "circumstantial" evidence.

Yes but you condemn those that want to challenge the evidence to ensure the best for the culture. Blindly following someone can lead to disaster, to make sure this doesn't happen, people challenge with their own means.

lol nihil, i love how ur trying to cover your ass by using 'safety measures'. i have not heard of one single person who, in their process of using a camera safely, has included 'take off the lens cap or else you will break it'. and dont even try and cover your ass this time. you will just make a fool of yourself even more. lol, safety proces....laughable.

Actually Dray, believe it or not, I do have safety measures, My dad is very picky about his equipment, on rare occasions we get to use it, we are either supervised or such, so when we do use it by ourselves, we remember to take it off because of the scolding and the supervision, like a routine.
