Good Anime?

I'm towards my last 5-15 episodes of Bleach until they make more, and was wondering if anyone has any good Anime recommendations that I can watch in between... I was thinking about Battle Angel, or Darker than Black so lemme see what you guys think! (No Naruto or Avatar...)

One Piece is better if you read the manga, the anime drags on more then DBZ.

And Dray I didn't list everyone I've seen, just the really good ones I've seen.

i have the same problem with animes all over. most are crap, the ones with a good plot/actors/drawing get fucked becuz they have a solid thing, and embezel it with useless stuff. take Alchemist. that is agood story, but its so ridiculously exagerated in terms of visual and episode plot that it denegrades a really good story. and its not that much of exageration. others are way worse.

i like Dragonball cuz...well its for kids. its pure and simple. its MEANT to exagerate. i go there and i know what im gonna get.

then there's the type i just mentioned that leave me frustrated.

I just judge the core elements. That's why I gave so many, yes some of those are taken out of context from the Manga, but they still come across as good animes in the end.
