I believe each pushup burns around 1-2 calories so congrats aard, you have burned off about 2-3 pounds of PURE body fat by doing all those pushups, and that wasn't even your intention.

200 right now. well im doing 500 every day but my weight is not going down.... i know i gain muscles and muscles are heavier than fat but my body should lose some weight shouldnt it ?

500 normally. And I don't do these all at once, I do 50, ten times each day. You'll find it's not that hard if you split it up. And I wish I was burning fat Champ xD, to be honest I eat waaaay too much junk food for anything to burn away, but hey, I can lift a lot more now.

What you should do is incorporate aerobic exercise into your work out.
Like say... jog for as long as you can with out over doing it** one day..
then maybe swim the next.. (don't over do it again**)
then next day ride a bike around town ... or better yet, replace going places with your car with going to those places on your bike.
**= If you over do it, then you'll be too sore to keep doing it next day and what not Razz
You do all that and do your absolute best to use some self discipline to not eat the junk food... you will be a lean mean ... not fat... machine Razz

+ 100 well im not fat or i hope so (194 cm/86 kg), since i play basketball for 3-4 hours (minimally) every day, i was just thinking about that - gaining muscles will add some weight, but also doing exercices should make oyur body lose fat much faster than making your muscles bigger -----> heavier.

Just as a note. I finished my 500 for the day, I started shortly after I posted at 4 pm by basically doing 50-100 when I had the chance, then doing something in between like arm reps with some light weights or a chair exercise for a few minutes.

Yeah Nomad you would probably lose "fat" faster than you put on muscle, so your "weight" would be going down even though you are packing on muscle. But i guess it all depends on your diet and what exercises you are doing. I also believe the max muscle a human can put on naturally is 250 grams a week and im sure you could lose more than 250 grams of fat per week. you'll have to look that one up though Razz btw Nomad 194cm 86kg.... you're a BEAST!

Aard, i know 500 is very possible, but its still overkill imo. have you tried other chest exercises as well such as bench press? The time it would take to do 500 pushups might be a waste of time when you could get equal if not better results from incorporating other chest exercises.

On week i do my full workout routine (which hasnt been for months btw lol) i would only do around 120 pushups a week, and those are in between each bench press set and between cable chest.

I don't have access to a gym, and don't want to pay for one. When I'm not doing those push-ups I use a pair of three pound weights to work my arms, chest, and back.

Fair enough, the gym is very expensive.

But you should seriously invest in some heavier weights, 3 pounds is only around 1.3 kg, im not particularly strong and i use 15kg dumbbells in each hand when doing chest.
