Honestly, they even said in the article that if they did breed the rabbits , it wouldn't make a difference, because the amount of other vegetables the rabbits eat is large. I'm not protecting the guy, but I mean, let him eat his rabbits.

nah, he shouldn't die cuz he ate the rabbits, he should do because he completely ignores offers of help and lets his people die of starvation.
