I'll go first to get things started. As stated in previous points, I will not provide any bad points to avoid influencing the debate.

Ptolemy, if I had to choose three words to describe him they would most likely be: Loyal, Experienced, and Direct. In my experience, once you have his backing, you have to do something terrible for him to withdraw it. He's experienced in many things, and is wise enough to offer life lessons he has noted, but also to know when to remain silent. He's direct, but not in a way that is insulting, he expresses his opinions quickly, but is polite in the process.

ptolemy is wise, loyal and direct. Unfortunately, his loyalty can sometimes lead to ignorance, but he is a good person overall and would be a perfect senator.

ptolemy is great choice for senator : he's level headed, wise and experienced person. He can make direct answer to things which is good also.So i dont see any bad due to which he cant be allowed to become a senator.

i like him. plus hes old, and we all know, old people are smart. and wise. Razz jk

so, ya, hes perfect candidate for senator for reasons my colleagues said. i see no major flaws in him, maybe he is stubbornly loyal sometimes, but thats hardly something bad.

he's a great candidate I know and I don't think anyone could say more without being redundant

However, I'm not sure how busy ptolemy is in his life. Would he be free enough to vote on measures? This is just concerning since he has a job and aragorn as everyone knows is busy as f**k. I'm not sure if the same is with ptolemy

that's the only potential problem I see

yeah ptolemy's a great idea provided he's not too busy and he wants to do this. Tbh he seems to be the only option as it is, seeing as sqrl2k is going afk

i haven't seen anything from ptolemy idea wise,

but i'm sure he wouldn't be late for a vote or miss anything, he is incredibly responsible, and he is, as aard said, direct, this is a great trait to have in order to move quickly on debate and passage of any clan act.

I personally think that Ptol is a better candidate than Sqrl.. Sqrl is a great guy and eager to help.. but IMHO he's a tad too young and acts it.. It would be best to have someone who is level headed all the time and can think things through... Not saying Sqrl couldn't but we all know how young peeps can be.. we all are either there or have been there.

PEACE!

There's a week of debate about the nominees before they're voted on in the Senate.
