I disagree that it takes more discipline to walk away. It takes more to stand up for what you believe in because you can always run away and pretend it never happened.

there is no point of standing up for what u believe in to someone who simply wants to annoy you and doesn't care whether ur right and wrong. Stand up for ur beliefs only when doing so will actually carry something across

then that all comes down to an opinion. Who determines when they are just doing it to annoy? and who determines that they wont stop and actually listen? I dont like that line of logic.

Actually fairly easy to tell. when they absolutly refuse to agree to disagree and let the matter drop then they are just looking for a fight OR they are just so incensed that you do not agree with them that they are going to convert you by force if necessary.

Either way it is annoying.
