Computer will not detect hard drive Empty Computer will not detect hard drive

It was working perfectly fine yesterday... Are there any ways anyone knows of that may help me get files off of it or am I SOL? I've got alot of pictures that still needed to be backed up on it..

I will not be playing JA much until this issue is resolved..

can you hook the drive up to a different machine or another drive port on the main board? may not be the drive but the HDD interface.

Yes Ptolemy is right.Try another drive ports - on almost every PC there like 2-3 ports so try them.Or you can ask some friend and hook your harddisk into their Pc to try where is mistake-in your HD or in your ports.

Well ,if you see when PC is starting ,the motherboard's information page appears ,find the Xpress Recovery button
choose Hard Drive to start first and bla bla ,if this didnt work ,try hooking to different ports of motherboard. if not ,talk to a specialist

Hey guys thanks for the advice! So far I've done everything I know how to do with just the PC. I'm going to try putting the harddrive in another computer. It might take a while though I need to find someone else who has a comp that uses SATA harddrives.

Internet speak is: "OMG Hai 2 U!!! g2g kkthxbai" Not capitalizing is just not capitalizing, it's not proper grammer but if you can read, write, and speak English then you can understand it. Internet speak takes some getting used to before you can read and write it properly.
