Rules: Don't put your Social Security card in your wallet. That's the worst place to put it. Memorize it.
Don't give out your personal info to anyone. No matter how "safe" the person/company seems to be. Usually if a bank calls you for instance and asks for your Social Security number, It's a scam. Banks have all that info. Why beat a dead horse?
