Well I basically was bored and was looking for ghost vids and etc when I stumbled on a video about this painting,



Well basically the painting is called, ''The hands that Resist Him'' Basically theres a whole story about it, but meh You can look it up yourself,

It might just be me, but I feel bad when I look at it, it weirds me out.

what do you guys think?

It's really pretty, but damn it gives me the creeps. There's something special with this painting, I mean, just look at the "girl" next to him. This picture says so much, but still, it's focken creepy.

The Hands Resist Him, also known as eBay Haunted Painting, is a painting created by Oakland, California artist Bill Stoneham in 1972. It depicts a young boy and female doll standing in front of a glass paneled door against which many hands are pressed. According to the artist, the boy is based on a photograph of himself aged 5, the doorway is a representation of the dividing line between the waking world and the world of dreams and possibilities, and the doll is a guide who will escort the boy through it. The hands themselves represent alternate lives or possibilities. It became the subject of an urban legend and a viral internet meme in February 2000, when it was posted for sale on eBay along with an elaborate backstory implying that it was haunted.

Why is the child walking a thin line between the dead and the living? Is he sick or something? Im sorry im being picky, it just looks like foney baloney, and someone making up artistic babbles to make ti bigger than it seems.

I think its just a creepy image. I forget the word...UNCANNY. yes. a normal situation that is slightly off...causing uncanny feelings.
