Gimp Empty Gimp

I made my first sig using gimp (look down). I have downloaded some brushes and i dont know how to put them on gimp... can someone please explain that, oh and what ya think of my signature (i was only able to use default brushes)

Just take all the brushes, go to my computer, then program files, then go to the Gimp folder,share,gimp,2.0,then you should see a brush folder, just put them in there.

As for the Sig, looks great for a first attempt. The size looks good too. The text is a little hard to read, but whatever.

I also just got hired on at mcdonalds so i made one more, last one im going to actually use as a signature, the rest will just be posted here for show...

If i could find a decent website with some decent brushes i think i could do better work...
