Turning read only off? Empty Turning read only off?

I'm trying to turn read only off for a .ini file (trying to edit user.ini for Deus Ex) but whatever I try, I can't. I have a feeling that it just can't be done... headbang

I'm on XP btw

Thanks a lot Dray cheers, I can finally edit the file (well, a copy of the file)...but the game is mounted with Daemon Tools. The original file is on G: and I can't drag/drop the edited one into the folder that's on it. So any changes I made are just sitting on my desktop. Any help is much appreciated

Thought he meant take the file and put it on C: to take away read only. Hey, it worked anyhow, I just can't put it to use.
