Honestly, the answer is likely. Today, a lot of people talked to me about joining, and if people had done that earlier, I likely would have applied earlier. Kinda like Beaner said, after the first few GIWs people were like ' Damn you are so skilled and stuff such as that'. And now when I apply for JC, now it's not enough. Think of it from my view, wouldn't that be annoying?
Btw, I retract my statement about today's trial thing not having to do anything with it, it did have a bit of impact.

Either way, if people just just respect somebody when there winning, but deny them on skill... would be a tad bit annoying, its like thanks for winning, no you can NOT have a prize (grossly exaggerated)

We never said your fanning wasn't good enough. We said fanning alone was not enough. There's also the simple fact that I can beat you 50/50 when I use Single vs. your Staff, a Consular should be able to kick my ass on a constant basis when I'm using Single. I'm also pretty sure you wouldn't get Overlord on that fan alone, you can ask Lay, Span, Ara, Beh, they've all been able to rank that high, and I'm pretty sure they'd give you the same response.

SO's in my mind are not permitted to use staff to get to SO unless prior to the duel the tester is shown that the challenger has an extremly high profficience in every aspect of staff. That was the rule that span and i came up with durring spans first change to the ranks

I just want to say that when I said earlier "not that I care" I meant if he leaves the faction, I didnt mean the clan. I am glad he is a member of JVS.

yes hence why Hero was not good enough for SO when he first tried,

it was too close..single v staff..plus the fact that if I would of just used it staff v staff is basically luck and who hits first

I never even got to trial out JC, Hero or Zaw.

Ok, cool. But I said the JC trial had only a little impact on me leaving Jedi. I never said that I knew everything about staff. And to Kami, you haven't dueled me in a month or two, at which time I killed you. I have been thinking about it for a while now, I understand that I could learn a lot more about staff and I am happy to let Sith people teach me.

Just so you realize how pretty random staff can be, me and Lay one day duked out staff vs staff. it was in clan war, but we were the only two fighting at the moment, and it was a 50/50 session of wins. i killed him, he killed me, i killed him, he killed me. Lay can testify this for me. Its a weapon that, unless you completely master aspect by aspect, depends quite a bit on external events. Dan is a good staffer, but not getting JC in here doesnt mean your bad. Many people have told me that im a good saberist(im nooooot!) but i know that i am not a JG. same can be said about Dan. its pretty good training thou, to fight him. Helps in timing against staff.

I don't have the full story I have not been playing for months. Nor do I recall facing Dan in battle but I am sure I have. Either way, I would vote no for someone who fans really good if I had voted and that is all he is capable of. To me a JC should be able to feint, use the terrain, and many other tricks other than a really good aggressive fan. But dont get me wrong, a good aggressive fan is the main component of a good staffer, its just not all of it.

I still don't think its a good reason to leave a faction, but whatever makes him sleep better at night.

I understand that, but i am showing him how to use such, there is more to staff than fan, but generally, fanning is the first step. And i miss you on teh battlefield friend. im teaching him tricks that he is preforming far better than i ever could.
