help with hosting a game

hey im sorry ive been gone for so long ...my idiot of a step dad got on my comp and got a vireos on it ....so im back now
but
can some one help me on how to host a game like all of you do
like when i join the sever i see the rules and then ur able to do stuff to ppl if they not following the rules
and a hole bunch of stuff like that
i know how to start a game but i have no idea how u do amin stuff and all that jazz
o and how u keep a sever up for ever

u can use admin comands in console but if you have server with mod then more easly is use admin script (u find it in japlus folder.

If you have base server then you need use cmd via console.
in google you can find list all cmd for admins.

importand is to lagged as admin on server, for it you need know rcon pass on base server and on japlus server council pass admin

o well , but hey ... how do u keep the sever up for ever , couse when i host one its has this window take comes up and the game starts ...but if i x it out or turn off the comp(i think ) it goes bye bye

Ours are hosted offsite by a server that can run without shutting down. You're running a home server, it can only be up as long as you;re willing to leave the window open.

Like we(Champ actually) pay a provider 15 bucks a month per server

Not unless you happen to have a spare computer lying around with Windows 2000 or higher, 512 MB of RAM, & stock gfx card made post 2004 MINIMUM.

actually Aard, most server providers use a lot of processing power instead of graphics cards.
