downloading a mod

k so i been asking people how to down load a mod, and all i get is game data base.....stuff i dont understand. plz help

Okay I will tell you how...
1) Get WinRar (Just Google and get English version for free from Rarlabs.com or something)
2)Download Mod
3)Go To My Computer
4)Open Your Local Hard drive (Usually called C:)
5)Go To Program Files (folder)
6)Go To Lucas Arts (folder)
7)Go To Gamedata (folder)
8: Go To Base (the folder)
9) Drag the .pk3 file from the WinRar window into your base folder...
All There is it to it ^,^ Bai

But make sure it's there.
Do it before you start up JKA, or it won't work.
If you have Windows Vista, go to "Compatibility Mode", on the bar towards the top of the window, and copy & paste the WinRar archive in there, then open the archive file and drag the contents to your Base folder.
