Well, there are advantages and disadvatanges of abortion :s
For example if woman gets raped, should she keep rapist's child?
I think i would use abortion then Mad
But if teens are just too stupid to get protected... pff they shouldnt use abortion.
imo..

i mean comon ppl

the issue isn't about birth control and population control

its about not having a child, if something happens, a mistake, or 99% wasn't enough, then abortion is an option.

I'm not going to control other people's lives, thats why i'm for abortion.

Not reading every other reply becuase i dont feel like reading 3 pages of stuff....I think abortion is the mother and fathers choice. It is their kid and they shouldnt ahve to take care of it if they really dont want it. You might think that is cruel so think of it from my point of view. The baby is extremely undeveloped and has no feelings, he dosent know who they are re or were it is. It dosent feel or think beyond is subconcious so its not being cruel or torturful to the baby. Also i am a christian whcih in our religion means that if a child is too young or undeveloped to learn about Christ and the meaning of the religion then the child is spared and eternity in hell and goes to heaven instead.

But the common belief of a Christian is that abortion is murder. Undeveloped, or not being able to think for itself is considered irrelevent in the Christian flow of thought. In the book of Genesis, it is stated that all are created equally. Wonderfully and intellegently made by the creator, all individually, percise and specific. And one of the most common Christian cliches is that "God has a specific plan for your life". Man being equal and having a life ahead of him planned by God, who are we, as humans to take that life from a baby? You have no idea what kind of person that baby could become, or what he could do in his lifetime. If God took that time in his plan to create, who are we to devalue that, as his follows, not his decision makers.

Ya but you can get forgiven for that. Its not the same as killing a man who is a non believer and now has to spend all eternity and the boiling lake of fire. At least that whats Christians belive. You can get forgiven for that too but the guy in hell still has to sit there.

I'm saying that not everyone in America is, and we can't just represent Christians in America, because that is not what America stands for.

besides, why should we represent, in the world, a shrinking majority,

We are the people of earth, we should be thought of as no less,

so lets not think of ourselves in terms of religion and represent us, the people of the earth Abortion? or No Abortion? - Page 2 842163

I think of it as a personal decision to make. It's the pregnant person's problem. They have to decide how to resolve the issue themselves. Sorry if i sound insensitive, but thats my view of it.

islam has sections too you know? the same way christianity has orthodox, protestant, catholics, etc etc. teh same happens in islam. The fact is, islam is fast growing cause of its constrictions form generation to generation. a family of islamics, is, 95% of cases, ALL islamic. no other religions in the family. i know i sound a bit stereotypical, but its a caharacteristic inbounded in islam, that it is very strict in its regions, unlike christianity, wich is mixed up with otehr religions in the bunch.

ya well lets be fair, thats true, because of the poor economic statuses of the major Muslim countries and because of the emphasis put upon it, like 16 and 17th century christianity.

but, still we should strive for secular rule, not rule of the church, synagogue, or mosque,

rule of the people, not their personal religious affiliations,

religion should belong to the mind, soul, and place of worship, not politics.
