Hackable as crackable, no. Now crackable for passwords and those sorts, yes.

Hacking is being able to change game settings without access to the server's administrative functions. This isn't possible in JKA, you can crack a server and get access to the administrative passwords, but in order to actually change the settings you need access to the server's admin.

Most of those are glitches, not hacks, and can be countered by the proper server settings.

Although I'll admit you know way more about JKA server care than me, I'm not quite sure I believe you on that one:

That's because they don't have their game patched.

As of currently, if you do not live in 2003, JKA is not hackable. Learn what hacking means before shouting aimbots. Cheating =/= hacking.

I know from experience (Money you know what I mean) that what Aard is saying is right. There is only one exploit that can happen though. That's if a server has sv_Allowdownload on and you download the server.cfg. However most servers who would have that on (very few) change the name of their cfg file.

It was a nice find but if you'd read the whole post you'd see this statement coming from the person who created the topic;

"It seems the hacker lied to me, today he told me our Rcon password and made fun of us, so he knew the Rcon somehow."

Personally, I believe that anything can be hacked, either through server cfg's or in the source code of a game itself I've seen alot of hacking on the internet with a few exceptional freaky cases.

Yea but if you keep on reading on they kept getting hacked, either somebody in the clan was screwing with them for t3h lolz, or the guy knew how to crack it. He was just saying that the guy got access to the RCON, whether through hacking or by other means.

You guys probably are mixing up hacking and cracking which are two total different things, modern day ''hacking'' is actually cracking

Yeah^. Hacking isn't that possible these days because everything's about security. Again it's either somekind of knowledge about the current password(s) or it's server.cfg download. Which used to be unconditionally possibly way back in the old versions of JA+.

There is hacking outside of cracking. Just its way out of everyone's league lol.

Crashing someone's server is not hacking.
