I honestly have no idea, but I have been able to adapt techniques and find others without help so I'd say 3-4 for creative flare, 6-7 for ability. Honestly have no idea how this goes though, since I don't know what u, Jma, and Ox view yourselves.

Chose this one because I rendered the image myself, and didn't have a lot to go on by the person who made the request:


Oh, and one thing that may be a factor is that I use GIMP, so animations will take more time for me.

besides the fact that you're a great friend, just like Jackson and KOTOR, you art shows promise. I would rate myself around 6 generally, but 8 on these forums...that work of art is nice and simple, the way beginning art should be..and us artists forget that sometimes we need to not overcrowd the canvas and keep it simple. Very clean rendering there, I myself simply use blurs and blends to hide the fact that the images was not perfectly rendered ....

Honestly I feel that in most cases your art needs to please you first and never mind what others think if it does. I have area's I'm experienced in and those that I'm not. Yet there will always be place for improvement so I wont rate myself.

This image is suppose to have sort of an Evagellion plug perspective. Granted they wore zero-suits. =x


I did this render recently in Poser 8 then the rest was painted in with Photoshop. I had to censor it before posting but I felt it over all it turned out well.

I have covered many subjects and styles in my 10-ish years doing computer graphic's. I do have art experience outside of CGI but I have grown to loathe drawing with pen or pencil. So I'm not the person to come to for drawn character art but I can color and shade pretty well in PS.

I've had an off and on relationship with 3D. When I first started getting interested in CGI it was back in 1998 because I wanted to model Gundam's. Which never happened but since then I have used Bryce, 3D Studio's Max, Milkshape, Lightwave, Cinema 4D and now Poser 8. I have done some custom models for games and such but I prefer to use base figures and morph and mod them as needed. As far as my making stuff for games go I did some stuff for TES3: Morrowind, a death dealer axe for a weapons mod. I also did a custom character skin for Vampire The Masquerade Redemption. I did a custom skin for JKA years ago along with skinning in Tribes 2.

That said I'm not a huge fan of working on game content but I'm willing to help with texture maps if anyone needs help.

Nope, actually I'm not... Though I could if I wanted (Figures by default are nude). I have done a couple of revealing renderings but I'm not making a habit out of it.

I think my next project is going to -be a fully dressed- male smuggler/new era clothed Jedi in possibly a full 3d image. I've yet to really mess with using 3D back drops in my poser renders but I think it is about time.

As far as risqué images go I will make whats requested as long as it abides by the forum rules on mature content. I don't have any issues with nudity or really anything else but I also have no desire to be offensive to others. Not to mention we have some youngsters around here!
