"Designed as much for elegance in combat as for ceremony, the lightsaber, is a distinctive weapon, the very image of which is inextricably bound with the mythos of the Jedi and the Sith."

Form I:
Shii-Cho(Mixed Style) - Shii-Cho, elegent in it's simplicity. This Form revolves around using the simplest moves in JKA. It does not use any glitches, or complex moves, but instead uses the very basics of the game to be deadly. Beginners at this Form often use Katas, DFAs, and the Blue Lunge. Advanced users use the simplicity of the style to misleading and devastating results, often seeming predictable but almost impossible to hit.

Form II:
Makashi(Red Style) - Makashi, deceptive and complex. This Form makes use of very complex and thought out moves to inflict damage, and precision to outmatch faster styles. A Makashi user always has a purpose for his moves, whether they be to inflict damage, or to draw an opponent into a faulty attack. The Form makes use of Delays and Feints to draw opponents in and, Pokes and Wiggles to deal devastating damage with precision. Makashi users are most commonly characterized by repeated use of Delays and Pokes.

Form III:
Soresu(Red and Yellow Style) - Soresu, defensive but powerful. This is perhaps the only truly defensive Form there is, it uses Blocks, Parries, and Counters to form both a powerful defense and an effective offense. A Soresu user is a tough opponent, not because they have excellent timing, or good manipulation of angles, but because they have the patience to out--wait their opponent. Above all Soresu never engages a fight, it's only means of offense lies in counter attacks.

Form IV:
Ataru(Yellow, Staff, and Duals Style) - Ataru, aggressive and fast. This Form is the most aggressive of all Forms, for the simple reason that it does not rely on blocks or parries at all. Ataru makes use of aggressive fanning and jumping to score hits and evade attacks. An Ataru user often confuses and overwhelms their opponents simply through their constant and diverse attacks.

Sokan(Any Style) - Sokan, diverse and tricky. This Form is the one Form most likely to backfire during a fight, and also the one Form most likely to score you a perfect score. It makes use of natural environmental conditions to form traps and pitfalls. Users of the Form attempt to trick their opponents into these traps, but just as often fall victim to their own makings.

Form V:
Djem-So(Red Style) - Djem-So, aggressive and powerful. This Form is one of the most common Forms used, and one of the hardest to Master. It makes use of Combos and Aerials to inflict large amounts of damage. Beginners of the style make use of Combos to trick their opponent into coming in close, then taking a hit. Advanced users make use of Aerials, Pokes, and Spins to deal a lot of damage quickly.

Shien(Yellow and Staff Style) - Shien, passive but devastating. This Form is perhaps the single most effective of all Forms, instead of attacking directly a Shien user waits for their opponent to attack then fans for quick damage. Users of the Form are often considered annoying by their opponents due to the lack of offense and the speed with which they strike and move away, making them seemingly unhittable.

Form VI:
Niman(Mixed Style) - Niman, all and nothing. This Form is often considered the "dirtiest" of all Forms due to the fact that Niman functions by always using your opponents opposing style. A Niman user will fan an opponent that uses Red and Poke an opponent that uses Yellow. Often they have no code of honor when they fight, and will take any advantage they see. This Form is rare due to the fact that it combines two styles. A Red Form, such as: Makashi, Soresu, or Djem-So; and a Yellow Form, such as: Ataru or Shien.

Form VII:
Juyo(Staff Style) - Juyo, emotional and powerful. This Form is a manifestation of both types of fanning, aggressive and passive. Users of the style adapt a more serious attitude when using this style, and are often best characterized by silence when they do use it.

Jar'Kai(Duals Style) - Jar'kai, patient and persistent. This Form makes use of the Duals increased damage range and increased blocking to dash in, deal damage to their opponents, and dash out before a counter can be mounted. Users of the style must be patient and accurate, often requiring time during the fight in which they do nothing but evaluate their opponent.

Vaapad(Mixed Style) - Vaapad, powerful and graceful. This Form is the hardest to use, simply because it cannot be taught. It makes use of all Styles of Single, from Blue to Red, but does so in a manner that makes it nearly impossible to see when a Style change is occurring, and often makes use of three or more Forms as well. Users of the Form are often difficult, if not impossible to read, making any sort of planning by their opponent futile.
