HOW TO JOIN - READ THIS FIRST!!!

JvS is a gaming clan for the game Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. We are a clan focused on fun and friendship, and are a close knit group because of it. So our recruitment process is a little longer then most.

1. First, you need to make an application in the Great Hall, that answers the questions we have on our application form: https://jvsclan.darkbb.com/great-hall-f3/jvs-application-for-those-wishing-to-join-jvs-t3.htm In order to join JvS, applications must be made by the person wishing to join and must be done in an account they create for themselves. No one other than the person applying to the clan is allowed to fill out an application. We ask that you make a new topic when you do this so we may better keep track of your application and progress.

2. Once you post your application you will need to wait for approval from our Leaders, specifically one from a Council member(Chancellor, Prime Minister, or Senate Representative), a Senator, and a Faction Leader(Grand Master, Dark Lord, Master Councilor, or Dark Councilor).

3. Once you have all the necessary approvals you will be permitted to use the tag "FS" but you are not yet eligible to use the JvS tag. In order to get permission for the JvS tag you must pass a 2 week probation, starting from the day you posted your application, in which we will evaluate your skill and attitude to make sure you are a good fit for us. In these 2 weeks, find someone who can 'sponsor' you, or even more then one person. You need to spend a minimum amout of time with the sponsor(s) during the 2 weeks, as well as a minimum server time. The times are:

1st week: 5 hours on server, 3 hours with sponsor
2nd week: 5 hours on server, 5 hours with sponsor.

You can do server and sponsor hours at the same time of course, and if you have more then one sponsor, if you spend different times with them, their times will add up, except of course if you were with them at the same time, in wich case it counts only as one time counting.

This means you would need to spend less then an hour per day in the servers and/or with a sponsor. This measure is to ensure you will be in the clan commited, and not just applying as a complete stranger to us. These time limits will ONLY be applied in your probation. Should you pass, no restrictions will be put upon you.

4. Once the two weeks are over, provided no one has rejected your application(even if you did the server/sponsor times), you may petition a faction, Jedi or Sith, for entrance. Once approved by a Faction Councilor, or the Faction Leader you will be given full admittance and be allowed to use the JvS tag along with the beginner tag for the faction you choose to join. Jedi Initiate, or JI, for Jedi. Dark Disciple, or DD, for Sith.
