anyone haz, can guide me to, or can offer advice on where to find the unadultered versions free or at least cheap priced? the 2008 dvd release is outrageously expensive wherever i find it.

The only place you'll find the original theatrical releases of the original trilogy on dvd is if you know someone who owns the VHS and has a VHS-to-DVD Converter. You might, MIGHT find one that just has the refilms from 95 if you dig enough, but they'll be damn expensive. No the only cheap versions you'll find is the 2002 remakes that add Haden Christiansen. And the original trilogy on VHS, unadulterated, I saw one a year before Epi 3 and they were $32 each, by now probably near $50.

well im following a bid on ebay, so if it runs well and star wars fan idiots dont piss me off, i might get it off for 50 bucks. the2008 dvd. also pirated isos would work too.

btw the average price for the 2008 dvd(wich contains the theatrical unadultered releases) is pretty steep. a 2nd hand, pratially new copy was costin 80 bucks. its 6 movies with it thou so i dunno.

For the most part that 97 is the original it had things added rather than changed outright. And $80 for all six works out to $13 a dvd roughly, and that would translate to 8 Euros.

oh sorry. its the original trilogy, but it has the special remastered edition and the original, so 3 movies, but 2 different versions of each.
btw, so you know how fuckin unadultered these versions are, the title is still star wars, and there is no episodic stuff. the aspect ratio even has black bars. and han shot first.
