It's really not surprising in an age where we have corporations owning all news outlets who are in turn regulated by the FCC who in turn is run by people picked by the politicians who in turn are elected off contributions of these companies and their shell corporations.

Don't be fooled, the government is run by corporations, and it's profitable for corporations to take over a country with a natural resource to help corner the market and increase the size of their pocketbooks.

Until the monetary market system ultimately collapses, leaving this world to shambles and to start anew. Seriously, we will not get passed this century without the fall of the coin. Its highly probable.

you dont understand. gold is a part of the monetary system. if the monetary system crashes, gold, as rare and pretty as it is, will become useless and worthless. the only thing valuable in a non monetary system is resources used for survival and fullfilling eg: guns for protection, food for eating, house for sleepin n confort, games for leisure, etc etc.

THE OPTIMAL would be a resource distribution system. and yes, there is enough in this world for everyone to live in good confort and a bit of luxury.

Wrong wrong wrong. Who is to say the global economy will collapse because one country does? And then who is to say gold will lose its value? Its been used for trading outside of the Native Americans for millenia. Its survived countless economic system changes, and has transferred its worth over from practically every system of economics to now. So who the hell are you to say that gold will have no value? Go ahead, don't take the advice. But also don't come running to uncle champy when your ammo runs low and you need to buy more.

ideally you should have the ability hand load your own ammo. making cartirdges will be almost impossible but a supply of powder and lead as well as a press and other equipment should be acquired and their use learned.

Or you can just learn how to bowyer and fletch. That is probably much more practical and does not require alchemy.

The difference was that unlike the past, for the first time, the whole economy of the world is globally connected. In the past, the crash of the stock market in america wouldnt affect others. now, companies and economies interweb globally, and you feel the hits from on side of the globe to the other. and EVERY single dollar, euro, yemen anyone owns rests on one factor on wich ALL the economy in the world rests: Oil. That is what drives it. And when we run out of oil, we shall run out of money.

Globalization is what makes this time different. If there is a crash, it will be worldwide champ. not america. not UK, not China. All of us go down. I said the optimal system would be to drop a trading market system and go for a global resource distribution. Optimal, but most likely not happening since everyone wil prefer to stay segregated and killing each other. GOD FORBID US TO GET ALONG AS A PLANET.
